Orthopedic surgery tries to maintain/improve the "quality of life" of patients dealing with bone-joint and nerve-muscle. In our division, we treat a variety of locomotorium diseases such as rheumatoid diseases, degenerative bone and joint disease, spinal disease, hand diseases, bone and soft tissue tumor, metabolic bone disease, and sports injury. We have specialized staff to cover all fields, playing an important role in orthopedic surgery in the San-in region.

Field of expertise

The number of surgeries for spine diseases such as cervical spondylotic myelopathy, spinal canal stenosis, and lateral curvature is one of the highest in Japan. We perform more than 100 joint replacements, and we also perform osteotomy of the hip and knee joints. We have expertise in surgery/chemotherapy for neoplastic diseases, micro-surgery, and regenerative medicine using distraction osteogenesis. In the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, we use biological products and achieve good results.
