Ever since its opening in 1947 as Second Internal Medicine, we believe that we have significantly contributed to the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in the San-in area. We utilize the latest equipment for diagnosis and treatment to meet a wide variety of patient needs. We always put emphasis on the establishment of a trust relationship between patients and medical professionals.
In the San-in area, we have the richest experiences in integrative diagnosis of liver cancer using image analysis and in medicinal treatment using radiofrequency ablation. We also often provide arterial injection chemotherapy for advanced liver cancer. We also provide antiviral therapy for type B and type C hepatitis, prevention of cancer, and early-detection screening. As for esophageal, stomach, or bowel cancer, we provide precise diagnosis and minimally invasive endoscopic treatment such as endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) using the latest endoscopic instrument. For biliopancreatic diseases, we provide treatment options after confirming histological evidence based on detailed observation with ultrasound endoscopy and fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA).
Benign and malignant disease of the overall digestive region
We provide treatment for a variety of renal diseases. The recently proposed CKD (chronic kidney disease) is drawing attention because of the high number of affected patients and the risk of cardiovascular disease. For this, we provide education for citizens in the region and treatment in collaboration with medical facilities in the region.
For early-stage renal disease patients, we perform renal biopsy for a definitive diagnosis and provide curative treatment. For patients with advanced CKD, we slow down its progress with multimodality therapy. And for patients with end-stage renal disease, after sufficient explanation of the treatment, we provide hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. We also refer the patients to transplant facilities for renal transplantation on the will of the patients.
