Medical Welfare Support Center
The Medical Welfare Support Center specifically aims at medical support from the patient’s point of view in order to implement the hospital’s philosophy of “sharing the joy of good health”. The operations of this center range widely including outpatient and inpatient treatment, discharge support, treatment at home and so on. For such treatments, the Medical Welfare Support Center acts as a bridge for advancing the functional contribution and the important active cooperation with regional medical institutes. Moreover, this center also supports important tasks such as giving guidance on medical welfare such as the subsidy system for medical expenses, so that patients will receive the best possible treatment. In June 2011, the center was moved to the old psychiatric outpatient clinic on the ground floor of the Outpatient Treatment Ward and was equipped with enhanced equipment. While medical welfare and medical coordination is its core, the center is also engaged in day-to-day activities that aim at improving the services for patients and reducing the workload of healthcare professionals with its motto “promptness, reliability and consideration”.
