We provide treatment for cardiovascular diseases that require surgery and put emphasis on the latest, safe, careful treatment.
Our motto is "National top-level cardiovascular surgical treatment." We vigorously perform minimally invasive surgery. We perform more than 350 cardiovascular surgeries, which is one of the highest number in public university hospitals in the Chugoku-Shikoku area. The operative mortality is about 2% including severe cases and emergency cases, which is the lowest level in Japan. We vigorously perform new treatment such as aortic aneurysm, stenting, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, therapy using ventricular-assist devices, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
