Our department is the only specialist education facility certified by the Japan Endocrine Society, Japan Diabetes Society, and Japan Thyroid Association in Tottori Prefecture. We provide the latest evidence-based medicine so that patients who have endocrine metabolic disease in this community can lead a peaceful life. We introduce the latest instruments such as insulin pump therapy, the continuous glucose measurement monitoring system, and ultrasound-guided inferior thyroid aspiration cytology. We encourage exchange of human resources with other facilities. We also support treatment of diabetes for patients in other departments of our hospital, support treatment of diseases such as endocrine tumor and electrolyte abnormality, and support smooth treatment of patients in other departments through the collaborative efforts of our multi-discipline diabetes medical support team.
