Surgery considering balance of radical cure and reasonable cosmetic form and evidence-based QOL-focused individualized medicine

We provide treatment mainly for the mammary gland, thyroid gland, and parathyroid gland. We take care of all phases of mammary gland treatment from diagnosis through surgery, adjuvant therapy, to treatment of recurrence, and palliation. We perform about 100 cases of breast cancer surgery, focusing on evidence-based individualized therapy with a tumor board review (multi-department, multidisciplinary conference). In the field of endocrinology, we perform surgical treatment of the thyroid gland and parathyroid gland.

Field of expertise

Mammary gland: Our expertise is breast-conserving surgery considering the cosmetic aspects. We also perform breast removal and breast reconstruction in collaboration with Reconstructive/Plastic Surgery. Regarding sentinel lymph node biopsy, we perform precise identification using both the dye method and fluorescence method. We provide chemotherapy without hospitalization for most patients. Thyroid gland: We introduce minimally invasive surgery for thyroid cancer, performing hemithyroidectomy and neck dissection with an incision as small as 4cm. We also perform surgery on Graves’ disease.

Parathyroid gland: One-day surgery with local anesthetic is possible.
